Privacy policy

ARAMES AI · operated privately by Olufemi Awoyemi · effective 20 October 2026

ARAMES AI is a personal software assistant used by one person, its operator, to manage his own Google account. It is not a commercial service, it has no other users, and it does not process Google data belonging to anyone else. This policy explains exactly what it does with that data.

Who operates it

The application is operated privately by Olufemi Awoyemi in the United Kingdom, for his own personal use. There is no company behind it, no customer base, and no data processing on behalf of third parties.

What Google data is accessed

With the operator's explicit consent, and only for the operator's own account, the application requests permission to:

Why it is used

Solely to help the operator with his own work: finding and summarising his email, drafting replies he then approves, checking and scheduling his appointments, and working with his own documents and spreadsheets. No data is used for advertising, profiling, credit assessment, marketing or any purpose unrelated to assisting the operator.

Third-party processing

To generate responses, text taken from Google services may be transmitted to a third-party artificial intelligence model provider — currently OpenRouter and the underlying model provider it routes to — for the single purpose of producing an answer. That transmission is necessary for the assistant to function. Those providers process the text under their own terms and privacy policies. No Google data is sold, rented, or disclosed to data brokers, advertisers or any other party.

Where data is stored

OAuth credentials, working files and conversation records are stored locally on the operator's own Windows computer, in files protected by his Windows user account. The application does not operate a server, a database service or cloud storage of its own, and no Google user data is held on infrastructure controlled by this application.

How long it is kept

Access tokens are retained until access is revoked. Conversation records are kept locally for the operator's own reference and can be deleted by him at any time. Nothing is retained indefinitely for any other purpose.

Security

Credentials are held in locally stored configuration files with operating-system access restrictions, and are not published, committed to public code repositories, or shared. Access can be withdrawn at any moment by the operator.

Your control and revocation

Google access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately ends the application's ability to reach the account. The local credential files can then be deleted.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

The application is not directed at children and does not collect data from anyone other than its single adult operator.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Given the application has one user, changes would be made by and for that user.
